Amnesty International is a global movement of over 7 million people in more than 150 countries working together to protect and promote human rights.

Our members at Amnesty International Canadian Section (English Speaking) work to support Amnesty’s goal of upholding the whole spectrum of human rights. Amnesty’s work includes abolishing the death penalty to protecting sexual and reproductive rights, and from combatting discrimination to defending refugees and migrants’ rights. Our members in this unit are located primarily in Ottawa, with some in Toronto and Vancouver.
