The Carleton University Academic Staff Association is the certified trade union representing over 950 faculty, professional librarians, and Instructor employees at Carleton University. CUASA works to promote the well-being of the academic community, to defend academic freedom, and to promote the interests of its members, as well as to maintain the quality and integrity of Carleton University as an academic institution.

Our members support the work of CUASA in several areas, including professional and administrative support, grievance handling, member services, communications, and equity.
